Hey! I’m Yago, a pixel pusher and digital crayon enthusiast (a.k.a. Senior Front End Developer), and I spend most of my time making the web look, feel, and behave better.

I’m happiest somewhere between React, TypeScript, and CSS, turning designs into polished interfaces with thoughtful interactions, responsive layouts, smooth animations, and the occasional completely unnecessary-but-worth-it micro-interaction.

I like building web experiences that feel less like “web pages” and more like proper applications: fast, intuitive, accessible, and nice to use. I’m particularly into modern React, Next.js, component architecture, design systems, optimistic UI, SSR, GraphQL, and all the interesting problems that live between design and engineering.

I’m also a bit obsessed with developer experience. If something is repetitive, slow, or annoying, I’ll probably try to automate it. CI/CD, testing, good tooling, sensible abstractions, and removing friction from workflows are all part of the fun.

More recently, I’ve been investing heavily in AI-assisted development and exploring how agents, automation, and better tooling can become a natural part of the development workflow. I’m less interested in AI as a novelty and more interested in how it can genuinely improve DX: reducing busywork, shortening feedback loops, helping teams move faster, and giving developers more time to focus on the interesting problems.

Mostly, though, I just like building cool stuff, playing with new technology, and finding better ways to push pixels around the screen.
